Transfer: Dennis faces uncertain future at Turkish club, Istanbul Basaksehir

Emmanuel Dennis is facing an uncertain future after Turkish side, Istanbul Basaksehir decided against signing him on a permanent contract.

Dennis joined Istanbul Basaksehir from Premier League club, Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan deal in the summer.

The 26-year-old has however struggled to make impact at the former Turkish Super Lig champions.

The versatile striker has make just eight league appearances for Basaksehir without a goal or an assist to his name.

Dennis, who was named in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has struggled with injury since joining Cagdas Atan’s team.

He is expected to return to Nottingham Forest next summer.
