Transfer: Dessers off to Italy for Cremonese move

Nigeria forward, Cyriel Dessers has travelled to Italy to complete his transfer to Serie A club, Cremonese.

Cremonese and Belgian Pro League club, Genk have agreed a €6.5m fee for the striker.

The 27-year-old was in action for Genk against KAS Eupen last Saturday.

Dessers has started the season on an impressive note, netting three goals in three outings for the Smurfs.

The player has however set his mind on leaving the former league champions despite the plea from manager Wouter Vrancken.

Dessers joined Genk from Eredivisie club, Heracles Almelo for €4m in 2020.
