Nigeria midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo arrived in Greece on Tuesday to seal his transfer to Aris Thessaloniki FC.

Etebo penned a contract with the Greek Super League outfit before the end of the summer transfer window in the European country.

The 26-year-old was, however, unable to link up with his new club as a result of a visa delay.

Aris announced Etebo’s arrival on their official Twitter handle.

“Oghenekaro Peter Etebo in Thessaloniki!, reads the tweet.

The combative midfielder is joining the former Greek Super League champions from Sky Bet Championship club, Stoke City.

The player spent last season on loan at Watford but his season was cut short by a cruciate ligament injury.

Meanwhile, Etebo has expressed his readiness to work with Aris manager, Alan Pardew.

“Of course, I know the coach as he was my opponent during my time in England. I’m looking forward to this collaboration and I think it’s going to go well,” he told Gazzetta Greece.
