Transfer: French club, PSG interested in Nigerian striker

Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Folarin Balogun on a permanent deal from Arsenal this summer.

Balogun has impressed during a loan stint with another French club, Stade Reims this season.

The Nigeria-born forward has scored 18 goals in 31 league appearances for Reims.

According to French newspaper, L’Equipe, PSG have added the 21-year-old to their shortlist for the summer.

The Parisians, according to the newspaper, are looking for a striker to replace Lionel Messi who is out of contract this summer.

Balogun still has two years remaining on his contract with Arsenal.

The Gunners are expected to demand for around €30m for the striker.
