Transfer: Guardiola keen to bring Real Madrid forward to Man City

Date:

Manchester City are ready to offer Rodrygo an escape route from Real Madrid.

With Kylian Mbappe set to arrive at the Bernabeu this summer, Rodrygo could find himself dropping down the pecking order.

Pep Guardiola is eyeing a move for the Brazilian forward, according to Marca.

Rodrygo, in the past, insisted he does not want to leave the Bernabeu.

However, he admitted he could seek a move away if he lost his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

“Of course, I want to stay here for many years. I want to be here as long as I feel that I help and I’m important to the team,” he said.

“And from the moment when I see that I’m no longer important, maybe it’s time to look for another place.”
