Mamadou Niang has challenged his former team Olympique Marseille to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.
The Ligue 1 club can offer the 37-year-old Champions League football, something he is desperate for this season.
Niang has now suggested Ronaldo could have the same impact Zlatan Ibrahimovic had at Paris Saint-Germain, if he goes to Marseille.
“We all have the right to dream! We are still talking about Cristiano Ronaldo, huh,” Niang told RMC Sport.
“We all remember [Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s] impact when he arrived at PSG and reinvigorated the fans.
“Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival in Marseille would be good for the city and for the fans.”
