Iheanacho joins Middlesbrough on loan

Kelechi Iheanacho has joined Middlesbrough on loan for the remainder of the season.

The Nigeria international moves to the Sky Bet Championship club from Spanish side Sevilla.

Iheanacho had signed for Sevilla on a free transfer last summer and scored three goals in 11 appearances for the Rojiblancos.

The 28-year-old returns to England after stints with Manchester City and Leicester City.

Starting his career at Manchester City as an 18-year-old, Iheanacho won the League Cup before moving to Leicester in 2017.
