Transfer: I’ll look after you – Cisse welcomes Ronaldo to Champions League club

Former Marseille striker, Djibril Cisse has welcomed the Manchester United star to join the Champions League club this summer.

Cisse said he would look after Ronaldo at Marseille, describing the Portugal captain as his friend.

There appears to be a little momentum behind the possibility of Ronaldo joining Marseille this summer.

The topic has been a talking point in France, and Cisse has now called for Ronaldo to sign for the Ligue 1 club.

Cisse wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, “@Cristiano come, my friend I will look after you #RonaldoOM.”

Ronaldo is expected to leave Man United before the transfer deadline.

However, the 37-year-old’s destination has remained unclear all summer.
