Transfer: Luca Marchetti names only 2 clubs capable of signing Osimhen

Date:

Football pundit Luca Marchetti has named Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain as the two clubs capable of signing Super Eagles’ Victor Osimhen.

Napoli, Osimhen’s current club side, has already announced that the player will be leaving at the end of the current season.

PSG, Manchester United, and Arsenal have all been linked with the Nigeria international.

Napoli have already set a huge release clause in the range of €120m to €130m, which means that not every club showing interest can afford him.

Speaking to Radio Marte via Spazionapoli, Marchetti said that Chelsea and the French champions are the teams likely to have the financial capacity to acquire the striker.

“If a club is really interested in signing Osimhen and knows that Napoli can hardly pay a salary of 10 million, does it offer 110 or 120 million?” he said.

“This is why playing roles or negotiations is important. I believe that today Osimhen could be worth around €100 million; few teams can afford him but these teams might need a striker. I’m talking about Chelsea, PSG and there could be some other surprise team.”
