Transfer: Nigerian goalkeeper joins South African club, Chippa United

Former home-based Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabili has linked up with South Africa Premier League club, Chippa United.

The 26-year-old recently parted ways with Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Katsina United.

The Gqerberha-based outfit has been looking to strengthen its goalkeeping department following the departure of Sipho Chaine to Orlando Pirates on the last of the transfer window.

Another goalkeeper Ismail Watenga also left the Chilli Boys at the end of last season Nwakali will battle Lloyd Kazapua for a starting berth in the team.

Chippa United was previously linked with Super Eagles goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi.
