Transfer: Osimhen gives Napoli condition to sign new contract

Date:

Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has told the club to include a release clause in any new contract he will sign, Soccernet reports.

The 24-year-old scored 26 times to help the club win the Serie A title last season.

Osimhen also grabbed five goals as Napoli reached the quarter-final of the Champions League.

His displays have seen big European clubs linked with the Super Eagles frontman this summer.

PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich are all keen on getting Osimhen’s services. But Napoli always want to tie him down to fresh terms.

Osimhen, however, wants to keep his options open and will only put pen to paper on a deal that has a release clause.

His current contract expires June 2025.
