Transfer: Patrick Vieira warns Arsenal, Chelsea on Ivorian attacker

Date:

Crystal Palace boss, Patrick Vieira has warned Arsenal and Chelsea, informing them that Wilfried Zaha is going nowhere this summer.

The Frenchman dismissed speculation that the Ivorian winger could leave the club before the transfer deadline.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with late summer moves to Chelsea and Patrick Vieira’s former club Arsenal.

After their 1-1 draw with Brentford in the Premier League on Tuesday, Vieira was asked about the speculation linking Zaha with a move away from Selhurst Park.

“I think there’s no comment to be made on that. I see him training every day and he didn’t mention anything about leaving.

“He’s always concentrated on performing well for the team because he wants to win games for this football club.

“There’s a really nice relationship between this football team and Wilfried Zaha, it’s not going to stop now,” he said.
