Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has rejoined Scottish club Rangers just one year after leaving the club.
The Gers announced on Wednesday that the Nigerian had signed a one-year deal, subject to international clearance.
Balogun played for Sky Bet Championship club Queens Park Rangers last season.
In his previous two seasons with Rangers, he helped the club win the league title in 2021 and the Scottish Cup in 2022.
The centre-back, who is Rangers’ seventh signing of the summer, expressed his delight after returning to Ibrox.
“I am just excited, to be honest. It is still a bit unreal, but it is very real, so I am just really really happy to be back at Rangers—it feels like coming home.
“Since I have left, I have always felt a lot of appreciation and love from friends I have made in Glasgow and around the club, and now that I am back, it is nice, to say the least,” he said.
