Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly insisted on a key role if he is to join Barcelona.
According to Catalan outlet El Nacional, Rashford is only open to a move to the Spanish giants if he is assured of a prominent position in Hansi Flick’s squad.
The England international is unwilling to settle for a place on the bench, as he aims to secure his spot in the national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The report added that the 27-year-old is reportedly willing to turn down a move to the LaLiga champions if he is not offered heavy involvement in the team in the upcoming new season.

Rashford’s potential move to the Blaugrana appears more likely since Flick’s side failed to sign their number one target Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.
However, it is widely reported that Liverpool’s Luis Diaz is Barcelona’s second choice before Rashford.
But Barca will have to battle Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich who are also interested in Diaz .
