Transfer: Super Falcons midfielder Otu joins Fenerbahce

Super Falcons midfielder Regina Otu has signed with Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Otu, who was released by French club D’Arkema in June along with fellow Nigerians Yewande Balogun and Amanda Mbadi, has agreed to a two-year deal with Fenerbahce.

The 28-year-old previously spent two seasons with St Etienne, where she played a key role in the club’s promotion during the 2022/23 season and continued to be a regular contributor last season.

Otu’s move to Fenerbahce marks her third European club, following her time with Belgian giants FC Minsk. She was also part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
