Transfer: Super Falcons Star Echegini Joins PSG

Paris Saint-Germain, the French D1 Arkema club, has officially confirmed the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini.

Echegini, 23, has inked a three-year deal with the Parisian club after announcing her departure from Italian side Juventus earlier this week.

During her tenure at Juventus last season, she notably scored 10 goals and provided one assist in 16 appearances.

“I am experiencing a great moment in my career today. Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is a huge source of pride. I am very proud to join a club that is recognized around the world for its ambition and excellence,” Echegini told the club’s official website.

” I can’t wait to get started and I can’t wait to give the best of myself to try to win, with my teammates and for the supporters, as many trophies as possible. ”

Echegini is currently on international duty with Nigeria.

The Super Falcons set up camp in Sevilla, Spain last week ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games to be hosted in Paris, France.
