Transfer: Ten Hag to sign World Cup midfielder for Man Utd in £30m deal

Date:

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, is keen on signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, according to talkSPORT.

Ten Hag initially targeted the Moroccan in the January transfer window, but ended up bringing in Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich on loan.

Also, the Serie A club were not willing to do business for the 26-year-old, who helped them reach the finals of the Coppa Italia and the Europa Conference League last season.

But Fiorentina are ready to sell this summer and Amrabat could go for as little as £30 million.

Ambrat’s low valuation has piqued the interest of United, with Ten Hag in the middle of a midfield revamp.

Ten Hag’s reshape has been heralded by the arrival of long-term priority signing Mason Mount, whose £60 million move from Chelsea was completed last week.
