Tottenham Hotspur have no intention of accepting Bayern Munich’s £60 million bid for their striker, Harry Kane despite the Bundesliga champions launching a charm offensive.
On Tuesday, Bayern Munich lodged an official bid worth £60m for Kane, who only has one year left on his contract with Spurs.
The England captain can leave Tottenham on a free transfer next summer.
Kane is high on Man United’s transfer wish list but the Red Devils are wary of engaging with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and fear he will demand far in excess of £100 million for the 29-year-old.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich’s bid has already been rejected out of hand by Tottenham, who have no intention of selling Kane for a figure that low.
