Transfer window: Bayern Munich working on prospect to get Spurs ace Kane

Bayern Munich are being encouraged to move for Tottenham striker, Harry Kane.

Former Bayern defender Jerome Boateng sees Kane as an ideal replacement for wantaway striker Robert Lewandowsk.

Speaking to Sky Deutschland’s Florian Plettenburg, Boateng said: “Many strikers have impressed me and at the moment they have the best with Lewy.

“(Karim) Benzema can also be mentioned after this season. Personally, I would immediately try to get Harry Kane at FC Bayern. That’s my opinion.

“For me, Kane is a complete striker who scores his goals every day at Tottenham. In a very good but not a world-class team. If he plays in a team like FC Bayern, I think that’s a super replacement at a very good football age. But that’s up to FC Bayern.”
