Transfer window: Everton midfielder Dele Alli almost completes Besiktas move

Everton star Dele Alli is close to completing his move to Besiktas in Turkey.

The Athletic state that a deal between the two clubs is done, with Alli set to spend the season on loan with Besiktas.

There is an option to make the deal permanent, which can be triggered in January or next summer for different fees.

Alli only signed for Everton in January, but has failed to impress manager Frank Lampard in that time.

His career has been on a downward trajectory in recent years, despite the promise he showed as a youngster at Tottenham.

He has been unable to replicate the form he showed under Mauricio Pochettino at the London club.
