Victor Osimhen has again re-affirmed his intention to stay with Serie A club, Napoli this summer.
The Nigerian player is desiring to play in the UEFA Champions League with Napoli and as such, will shun offers from the Premier League clubs.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that the 23-year-old striker has opted to stay at Napoli, where he has a contract till 2025, because they will play Champions League after they finished third in Serie A last season.
Newcastle United tried to buy him in the winter and are believed to be open to table a massive offer, but he has so far ignored the Premier League side because they won’t feature in Europe’s foremost club competition.
Osimhen has also been linked with Arsenal, who are yet to meet the valuation of Napoli for the striker.
They will also not be playing in the Champions League.
