Transfer window: Olympique Marseille planned to lure Ronaldo to France, says great Basile Boli

Olympique Marseille great, Basile Boli, has confirmed talks were held with Cristiano Ronaldo about a move to France.

Ronaldo was linked with OM after he was released by Manchester United last month.

And Boli admits talks were held with the Portuguese great.

He told Marca: “Cristiano was in conversation with Marseille.

“In my opinion, he should have come here. He is still a very talented player despite his aging. I think he could have shown that he still has a lot to give.”
