Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will step up preparations for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations with friendlies against Nigeria Professional Football League clubs.

The WAFU B champions will take on Nasarawa United, Niger Tornadoes and Wikki Tourists next week.

It was their fifth consecutive win since they set up camp in Abuja last week.

The friendlies against the NPFL clubs will further test the team’s readiness for the U-20 AFCON.

The Flying Eagles will embark on Christmas and New Year break on December 22 and then resume, January 4.

Egypt will host the 2023 U-20 AFCON from February 18 to March 12.

The four teams at the competition will fly Africa’s flag at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be hosted by Indonesia.
