U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Thrash Galadima FC 5-1 In Friendly

The Flying Eagles thrashed Galadima FC 5-1 in a friendly at the Gold Project Practice Pitch, Abuja on Wednesday.

It was the team’s second big win since they set up camp in Abuja for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations last week.

Ladan Bosso’s side defeated Global Soccer Academy 5-0 last week.

Yahaya Ibrahim, Leke Adams, Ayuba Francis and Thompson Ishaka scored the goals for the Flying Eagles.

The Flying Eagles are expected to engage in more friendlies ahead of the competition.

The seven-time champions will travel to Morocco for a training tour later this month.

The West Africans are drawn in Group A along with hosts Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal for the U-23 AFCON.

The competition will run from February 19 to March 11.
