Young Scorpions of Gambia forward, Adama Bojang is eager to face the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.
Abdoulie Bojang’s side will face the Flying Eagles in a semi-final encounter at the Cairo International Stadium on Monday night.
The Cubs of Senegal will be up against Tunisia in the second semi-final fixture.
Gambia totally annihilated debutants South Sudan 5-0 in the quarter-final to book a date with the Flying Eagles.
The win ensure the tiny West African nation will be among the four Africa’s representatives at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
With their first objective already achieved, Bojang said beating the Flying Eagles and claiming the title is now his side’s next target.
“We’ve already qualified, now we’re looking for the gold medal but we have to win the Nigeria game so we can reach the final and clinch the gold,” Bojang was quoted by CAFonline.
“As I said earlier, we have to take it game by game. The next most important game is Nigeria.”
