U-20 World Cup: Bosso vows Flying Eagles will give their best against Argentina

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso has said his team will give their all against Argentina in the Round of 16 encounter at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Nigeria will battle the host country for a place in the quarter-final of the competition in San Juan on Wednesday night.

The West Africans finished in third position in Group D with two wins and one defeat.

Argentina, who are managed by former Liverpool and Barcelona midfielder, Javier Mascherano, top Group A with a maximum nine points.

The South Americans will head into the game as the overwhelming favourites but Bosso strongly believes his team have a chance against their opponent.

“We have to fight for the trophy. I think it is still open. Everybody can be there, and I believe we have the capacity to be there,” Bosso told thenff.com.

“We are into the knockout stage, and in the knockout stage, there is an approach we can employ for it, and we hope we’d have our plans executed accordingly,” the tactician noted.

The game will kick off at 10pm Nigerian time.
