U20 AFCON: Egypt Lists 26-Man Strong Squad For Flying Eagles

After undergoing a closed camping exercise in Cairo, the head coach of the Junior Pharaoh of Egypt Mahmoud Gaber has listed a 26-man strong squad for the competition.

Egypt is the host of the tournament and they are in the same group A with Senegal, Mozambique and the Flying Eagles of Nigeria.

The list was released on Friday afternoon and they are expected to face South Sudan in a friendly game later in the day.

Egypt will take on Mozambique in the opening game of the competition on February 19th before facing Nigeria and Senegal later in the group matches.

Full Squad

Goalkeepers: Ahmed Nader Al-Sayed, Karim Ahmed Nabil, Mustafa Makhlouf.

Defenders: Abderrahmen Rashdan, Abderrahmen Jouda, Omar Fayed, Youssef Shaaban, Ahmed Reda, Iyad Al Askalani, Islam Abdullah, Karim Al Dabes, Raafat Khalil, Khaled Awad, Mahmoud Ahmed Morsi.

Midfielders: Muhammad Fares, Tarek Alaa, Omar Al-Saei, Majed Hani, Muhammad Hamdi, Ahmed Abdel-Rahim Esho, Ahmed Nader Hawash, Youssef Al-Azab.

Attackers: Salah Bacha, Ahmed Sherif, Youssef Hassan, Bilal Mazhar.
