U20 AFCON: Egyptian Coach Targets Victory Against Nigeria

Date:

Egyptian U20 coach Mahmoud Gaber has set his sight on victory against the Nigeria Flying Eagles.

The Young Pharaohs were held to a goalless draw by Mozambique in the opening match of the competition on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the 2015 U-20 AFCON champions suffered a 1-0 loss to the Young Teranga Lions of Senegal.

While speaking ahead of the Wednesday match, Gaber said his players have promised him a win against Nigeria.

“We are focusing now on the Nigeria clash and will do better than against Mozambique.

‘’Our target is to win tomorrow (Wednesday) and we will do our best to achieve the target.”

“Players promised me to win against Nigeria and I am fully confident in my players”, he said.
