Congratulatory messages continue to pour in for victorious Nigeria’s Flying Eagles following their victory over the Hippos of Uganda.
The Nigerian side on Thursday defeated their counterpart from Uganda by a lone goal to book their place in the semi-final of the competition and also in the FIFA U20 World Cup.
The latest to praise Flying Eagles is Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro who sent his message through his social media handle.
“Congratulations to our Flying Eagles who have guaranteed a spot in the U20 World Cup in May, as well as being through to the semi-finals of the U20 AFCON,” he said.
Flying Eagles of Nigeria remained the most successful team in the competition having won the trophy seven times.
