U23 AFCON Qualifier: Guinea To Host Olympic Eagles In Morocco

It has now been confirmed that the second leg match of the U23 African Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria Syli Stars of Guinea and Nigeria’s Olympic Eagles will not come up in Conakry Guinea.

Guinea was drawn bye from the second round of the qualifying game after Uganda withdrew while Nigeria eliminated Tanzania.

The Nigerian side will host the first leg but the second leg that was supposed to take place in Conakry has now been moved to Morocco.

The decision to have the game in Morocco was agreed upon on Friday afternoon after the national stadium in Conakry failed to get the approval of the African soccer ruling body.

The winner over the two legs will qualify for the AFCON competition slated to hold in Morocco later in the year.
