Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema is presently the top scorer in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) following the completion of this week’s semi-final first-leg fixtures on Wednesday night where Liverpool defeated Villarreal 2-0.
Benzema is ahead of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Ajax’s Sébastien Haller on the goal chart.
The France international has fourteen goals, while Lewandowski and Haller have thirteen and eleven goals, respectively.
