AC Milan legend, Clarence Seedorf, has predicted Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League semi-final second-leg tie with Manchester City.
Real Madrid will on Wednesday night host Manchester City in the Champions League last-4 second leg fixture at the Santiago Bernabeu in Spain.
The LaLiga champions had lost 4-3 against Man City in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium last week.
Speaking to Real Madrid TV, Seedorf backed Real Madrid to use all of their Champions League experience to beat Pep Guardiola’s side and reach the final.
He said, “The team [Real Madrid] is now at an important and special stage: in the semi-finals and a step away from the final. Real Madrid have to perform like a Real Madrid team.
“What I mean by that is that they must show the character that the club always has done in Champions League games. That is what they need to do and more so than ever against a strong side in Manchester City.”
The former Real Madrid midfielder added, “We are so used to getting to these important stages of the season and we have got to use all of that experience and the desire to reach the final.
“There is no doubt that Real Madrid are the best club in the world. There is got to be something very special there when you manage to lift 13 European Cups.”
