UCL: Tottenham boss Conte faces further UEFA sanctions

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte faces further UEFA sanctions after his outburst after their 1-1 draw with Sporting CP.

Conte was furious after his team were denied what he thought was a legitimate winning goal.

Harry Kane felt he had put the ball in the net to secure three Champions League points for his team.

However, VAR denied the goal due to off-side, which led to Conte’s furious reaction that got him sent off late in the clash.

Per the Daily Mail, Conte will be banned for their final group stage game.

They will then convene and decide on whether any additional punishment is necessary, which may be a ban for further matches and/or a fine.
