Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has expressed concerns over his team’s defeat to Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The German is worried that their next opponents in the Premier League, Wolves, are already laughing at them after the Red fell 4-1 to Napoli in Italy.
Klopp’s men gave a woeful first-half display in Naples and went into the half-time break three goals down, with Piotr Zielinski opening the scoring after just five minutes from the penalty spot.
Napoli saw another spot-kick saved before Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa doubled the scoreline, while substitute Giovanni Simeone netted just minutes after coming on shortly before the break and within two minutes into the second half, Zielinski netted a fourth goal for the Serie A giants.
Luis Diaz scored what only became a consolation goal as Napoli held on to a 4-1 win.
Speaking to BT Sport, Klopp said, “In three days we play against Wolves. They saw the game tonight and cannot stop laughing probably, and thought, ‘Oh my god that’s the perfect moment’.
“I would say it’s the perfect moment [to play us] but we have to try to find a set-up to be much better in pretty much everything in three days’ time.”
