UECL: Anderlecht coach, Van den Brom wary of Chukwueze’s threat

Anderlecht manager, John van den Brom has identified Samuel Chukwueze as a potential threat ahead of his side’s UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Villarreal.

The Round of 16 first leg encounter will hold at the Lotto Park, Brussel on Thursday (today).

Chukwueze has scored six goals in the UEFA Conference League this season.

His trickery and pace has been an important weapon for Villarreal in the competition.

Van den Brom reckoned his side must be at their best to stop the Nigerian from wrecking havoc against them in the game.

“It is also important to pay attention to the counter, because Chukwueze is fast on the right,” the gaffer was quoted by voetbalnieuws.

“Villarreal has many offensive assets, but it is not impossible to paralyze them.

Chukwueze has scored 10 goals and recorded 10 assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow Submarine this season.
