UEFA Conference League: Chukwueze scores, bags assist in Villarreal’s win vs Lech Poznan

Samuel Chukwueze was on target and also provided an assist as Villarreal defeated Polish club Lech Poznan 4-3 in their UEFA Europa Conference League clash on Thursday night.

Chukwueze netted the opener in the 32nd minute after he was set up by Johan Monica.

The winger set up Alex Baena for the third goal five minutes after the break.

Baena scored a brace, while former Arsenal midfielder Frank Coquelin scored the other goal.

Chukwueze has scored one goal in five appearances across all competitions for the Yellow Submarine this season.

Unai Emery’s side will face Hapoel Be’er Sheva in their next game in the competition.
