Victor Moses Rules Out Return To Chelsea

Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses has come out with a bold declaration that he is staying put at Fernebahce of Turkey in the coming season, and ruled out the possibility of cutting short his loan spell in order to rejoin his parent club, Chelsea.

After missing out on a possible summer transfer to join Antonio Conte at Inter Milan of Italy, Moses said the only other thought on his mind now is staying with Fernebahce.

Initial talk about Moses linking up with Conte at San Siro, to replicate the favour he gained from the Italian tactician during their time together at Stamford Bridge did not materialise last month, leaving the ex-Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic winger to retrace his steps to Fernebahce.

However, there were also follow-up reports that Moses would have to head back to Chelsea in pre-season, as The Blues are passing through a two-year transfer ban by FIFA, but he prefers seeing out his loan deal.

Moses, who had previously spent time out on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United, penned a year-and-half loan contract with Fener in the January transfer window, an agreement that should keep him in Istanbul until June next year.

Consequently, the 28-year-old star has already reported for pre-season training and stressed that he intends to see out his contract with The Yellow Canaries, for who he had 14 games in the Turkish Super Lig last term, with four goals to show for his efforts, his highest in seven years

Moses told Turkish sports daily, Fanatik: ”I will be wearing a Fenerbahce shirt next season. I am not thinking of leaving this summer.”
