Victor Osimhen mask becomes a family tradition

Victor Osimhen has seen his iconic protective face mask copied by children all over the city, so the Napoli striker naturally had a version for his daughter ahead of the last game of the season.

The Nigeria international had plenty to celebrate this evening against Sampdoria at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

His team won the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years, he is the first African ever to be crowned Capocannoniere (top scorer) and was also given an award as Serie A Striker of the Season.

As is tradition, Napoli players came out for the final match of the campaign with their children and Osimhen had a special surprise, as his baby daughter was wearing a miniature version of his face mask.

The mask has become his trademark and is worn by children all over Naples eager to copy their hero, while even mopeds, cars and trucks are painted with a mask shape in his honour.
