Burnley set sights on move for breakout star with 20 goals in 21 games this season

Vincent Kompany is reportedly interested in signing Nigeria’s 20 year old forward, Gift Orban to fortify their team after securing promotion to the Premier League in style.

The Clarets are gearing up for a return to the top-flight and it seems Kompany has Orban who scored 20 goals in 21 games for KRC Genk in the just ended 2022/23 Belgian Pro League season.

Orban has been a revelation since he moved to KRC Genk this winter after netting 19 goals and seven assists in 19 games for Norwegian side Stabaek.

The Nigerian has thus emerged as one of the game’s most promising striking talents in world football today.

Meanwhile, Lille are actively pursuing Orban as their potential new striker.

Orban is also on the radar of clubs like Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, Benfica, Inter Milan, and RC Lens.
