Falconets coach Christopher Danjuma has admitted that his girls failed to seize some vital chances leading to the team’s ousters at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World cup in Costa Rica.

Football according to him is all about seizing chances adding that when you fail to do so you get punished for it. “We had our chances but could not seize them and were punished for it” he said. Danjuma however insisted that his girls did their best despite the ouster adding that they have better future ahead of them.

Falconets who had enjoyed jolly ride leading to the knockout stage lost 2-0 early this morning to Netherlands to book their exit from the competition.

Second African representatives Ghana failed to survive the group stage losing all three matches to USA, Japan and Netherlands, conceding nine goals and scoring one.
