Without the injured Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles will be counting on goals from Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface and Terem Moffi to go past Lesotho and Zimbabwe in 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria have named a 23-man squad without injured Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze for forthcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Both Napoli striker Osimhen and AC Mila winger Chukwueze were injured on international duty last month and are yet to recover.

Taiwo Awoniyi of Nottingham Forest, Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen as well as OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi have been invited for the qualifiers.

There is a first-ever call-up for Bayer Leverkusen winger Nathan Tella.

Nigeria welcome Lesotho to Uyo on November 16, before they take on Zimbabwe in Rwanda three days later.
