WAFCON 2022: Super Falcons storm Casablanca for Cameroon clash

Title holders, Super Falcons of Nigeria have arrived in Casablanca , Morocco for their quarter-final fixture against Cameroon at the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.

The players and their officials arrived Morocco’s capital on Monday afternoon and are lodged at the Novotel Hotel, Mohammedia.

The highly anticipated clash is billed for the Stade Mohamed V on Thursday.

“Hi Casablanca,

We’ve arrived safely in Casablanca in the build up to our #WAFCON2022 quarterfinal showdown with Cameroon on Thursday, July 14. On arrival, we were immediately lodged at Novotel Hotel in Mohammedia,” read a tweet on the official Twitter handle of the Super Falcons.

The nine-time champions defeated the Swallows of Burundi 4-0 in their final group game on Sunday night.

The Falcons finished in second position in Group C behind the Banyana Banyana of South Africa.

The game against the Indomitable Lioness will kick off at 6 pm Nigeria time.
