Walker-Peters talks up Aribo’s impact in Southampton’s draw vs Leeds United

Southampton defender, Kyle Walker, hailed the positive impact of teammate Joe Aribo after the midfielder inspired a 2-2 draw against Leeds United.

The Saints trailed 2-0 after 60 minutes but rallied back to earn a share of the spoils.

Aribo was introduced in the 61st minute and his entrance helped change things in favour of Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.

The midfielder pulled a goal back following a cross from fellow substitute Adam Armstrong on 72nd minute.

Walter-Peters levelled scores nine minutes from time.

“Sékou came on and got an assist and Joe [Aribo] came on and scored,” Walker-Peters told the club’s official website.

“The new guys have fitted in really well; I think as a group we’ve made it easy for them to settle in and that showed today.”
