We Are Thirsty Of Playing In AFCON – Tanzania Captain

The captain of the Junior Taifa Stars of Tanzania Abutwaleeb Mshery has insisted on their qualification to the 2023 U23 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Tanzania will face Nigeria’s Olympic Eagles in the second leg of the qualifier on Saturday in a game they must win or have a high-scoring draw if they want to progress into the next round.

The team is already in Ibadan the venue of the match and the team captain is talking tough and why they need to qualify.

“We are thirsty to play in AFCON 2023 with the preparations we got, we believe we will do well, there is a chance against Nigeria.

“Tanzanians should pray for us “, he said

The game will take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on Saturday with the winner over the two legs qualifying for the final round of the qualifier.
