‘We are working hard to offset NFF’s huge debt’ – Gusau

The Nigeria Football Federation president Ibrahim Gusau has revealed that the Federation is owing huge bills and he is working very hard to offset the debt.

Different National team players, and coaches, have complained openly and in anonymity that they are being owed salaries, and bonuses.

It is on the record that John Noble has called on the Federation to pay him $25,000, his allowance for the 2021 African Cup of Nations.

Goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorunmi, and assistant coach Finidi George whom the federation has excused from the camp after they call for a contract, and payment of their salaries, and allowances.

But there might finally be a light at the end of the tunnel with the latest part payment made by the NFF and with Gusau’s determination to offset all outstanding.

“The bills owed by the NFF are huge and we are working hard to offset them soon, ” said Gusau to complete sports.
