We need to better our performance next season – 3SC coach, Ogunbote

Date:

Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has insisted his team needs to do better if they are to taste success next season.

The Oluyole Warriors escaped relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League after an impressive second half campaign.

The Ibadan club finished mid-table in Group A.

Ogunbote hinted that it is important for the club to build on their performance in the latter part of the season.

“We have a target which we didn’t achieve but there are positives from our just concluded campaign which we can build on ahead of next season,”.

“We all need to do better to be able to taste success next season.

“It is important to hit the ground running early in the campaign unlike we did this time around.”
