The President of Football Fans Club of Nigeria Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa has assured that his people will definitely be at the stadium to give their total support to the Super Eagles as their battle Central African Republic in the return leg of the ongoing World Cup qualifier match scheduled for Douala National Stadium 2pm Today.
Super Eagles lost at home during the first leg of their match against CAR played in Lagos last Thursday and are expected to revenge and redeem their lost glory by picking the maximum point available in today’s game.
In an interview with SportsDay in Douala, Amb Ogunfuwa said, “We have nothing to worry for because this is going to be a redemption match,” She said.
According to her, ” I know the Super Eagles will make their fans smile again. Don’t forget if anything goes wrong even as fans, we get all the blames from Nigerians .
” I Knowing fully well that,as supporter we don’t play ball but only support. At the end of the game we get to be blamed whenever we loose and praises whenever we win.
The general public also needs to know that, nobody wins it all. That is why it is a game, time to loose and time to win but in today’s match against CAR, it will be a celebration at the end no excuses this time” Ogunfuwa added.
