WorldCup playoff: Amunike Assures Fans

Super Eagles Assistant Coach Emmanuel Amunike has stated there still hope for Nigeria to a World Cup ticket on Tuesday in Abuja.

Eagles played a goalless draw against the Black Stars of Ghana in a first leg match on Friday night in Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

In an interview with SportsDayonline.com, Former Bukinafaso Tactical head confirmed that ,” Our game against Ghana was an interesting one because the players played up to expectation based on what saw yesterday.

“You do not compare the pitches in Africa to the once they play in Europe but all the same despite everything player did not lose focus till the final blow.

“The most important thing is that we were able to see the lapses and will be working on them to get it right befor tuesday match.

He assured fans with their total support, Super Eagles will put smiles on their faces by picking the World Cup ticket against Black Stars on Tuesday
