As African international referees and others from different confederations are involved in the deciders for World Qualifiers for the Confederation of African Football, CAF, a Nigerian topflight referee, Samuel Pwadutakam of the Adamawa State Referees Council is keeping the country’s flag flying.
Pwadutakam who also was Nigeria’s ambassador on the list of FIFA referees at the AFCON in Cameroon, early this year, will join other match officials from different countries for the tough clash; Mali vs Tunisia at the 25th Stade Du Mars, Bamako, Mali
In the appointment released by the international world football governing body, FIFA, Pwadutakam is already on his way to the Malian capital as Assistant Referee 2 of the match to join the referee, Tessema Weyesa of Ethiopia. Other match officials are;
Ibrahim Abdallah Mohammed of Sudan the Assistant Referee 1 while
Herraral Ahmad is the Fourth Official.
Sanchez Martinez Jose and Cuadra Ferdinandez both of Spain are VAR and AVAR officials respectively.
Hadqa Yaya Morocco is the Assessor for the games scheduled at 17 00hrs on Friday, 25th March, 2022.
