WWC: Ebi envisages tough encounter against Australia

Date:

Super Falcons captain, Onome Ebi, has admitted that their second group game against Australia at the ongoing Women’s World Cup will be a tough encounter.

Ebi, who missed the Falcons’ opening goalless draw against Canada Friday, is one of three players at the tournament making their sixth appearance at the Women’s World Cup.

Brazil’s Marta and Christine Sinclair of Canada are the other players at this year’s tournament in Australia and New Zealand.

The 40-year-old says the team is confident ahead of the clash following the performance against Canada – the reigning Olympic queens.
